i cannot begin to explain how STOKED i am for this cookie recipe i have been working on! This savory, sweet, AND decadent treat is a Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Chip Pretzel Cookie 🥨🍪🥜 Try saying that 5 times fast!


FULL of flavor, these big guys will send your taste buds to heaven and back.


Don't be taken aback on using the greek yogurt -- it makes ALL the difference! Not only did it bring the calorie count a bit lower, which is always nice when it comes to a monstrous cookie like this hehe, but also REALLY kept these babies moist!


Plus, another secret..


Using peanut butter WITH honey...


oh boy, i wouldn’t dream of using anything else.

tinyB's Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Pretzel Cookies!

yields: 12


YOU WILL NEED:

½+2 tbsp kroger honey peanut butter (or skippy! or whatever you'd like!)

½c non-fat plain greek yogurt (or unsalted butter)

½c+2 tbsp dark brown sugar

¼c granulated sugar

1 tbsp flaxseed+3 tbsp water (or 1 large egg)

1½ tbsp pure vanilla extract

2c all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. kosher salt

1 cup dark chocolate chips

1 cup pretzels, chopped finely


METHOD:

•Preheat oven to 375° and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper.

•In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine peanut butter, greek yogurt, and sugars. beat on medium until light and fluffy.

•Add flax and vanilla—mix until thoroughly combined

•add flour, baking soda and salt— mix until just combined.

•lightly fold in chocolate chips and pretzels.

•scoop a heaping tablespoon of the cookie dough onto prepared sheet and flatten into a pancake-like circle. BE SURE TO FLATTEN, or else they will become cookie balls! Which, hey, is cool too.

•Bake until the cookies are golden on the bottom, 12 to 15 minutes.

•Most importantly, ENJOY! You deserve it!🍪☕️😋
