YOU WILL NEED: ½ cup gluten free rolled oats (i use Bob’s Red Mill, but you can use any oats!) ⅓ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk* (any milk will also do! See notes) ½ tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp dark brown sugar 1 tsp chia seeds 1 tsp vanilla 2 dashes of nutmeg sprinkle of salt diced strawberries for garnish (optional, but HIGHLY recommended! Adds a lovely amount of freshness!)
METHOD: 1. If garnishing the night before, place diced strawberries or any garnish you may desire to the side! 2. Add ALL of the other delicious ingredients together in a mason jar (or any airtight glass jar with a lid!) and mix together. 3. Once combined, add garnish (or wait till the morning to add goodies!) and put the lid on! Store for 5 hours-overnight, or for up to 4 days. 4. ENJOY!!! You deserve it 😋
- If you would like this jar of oats thinner, use ½ cup milk rather than ⅓ cup!
-Some optional toppings include stevia sweetened mini chocolate chips (or any kind!), strawberries, blueberries, peanut butter--really, the options are endless!
